PROF. ABDUL BARI

(1892-1947)

The great Prof. Abdul Bari was born in 1892 in Village Koilwar Dist. Bhojpur Bihar. His father Md. Qurban Ali was belongs to Village Kansua Dist Arwal, Bihar. He has graduated in 1918 and later become post gradate in History in 1920 from patna University. He meeting First time with Mahatma Gandhi as congress worker in 1917 during his visit to Bihar. He played active role to unite worker section of Bihar, Bangal and Udissa for freedom struggle movement in 1921, 1922 and 1942. He also played active role in Non co-operation movement in 1922 with Dr. Rajendra Prasad. A national level college has been established in Sadaqat Ashram patna in 1921 in which Dr. Rajendra Prasad was principal and Abdul Bari was professor. In provincial election in 1936, he was elected as an M.L.A of Bihar. He become Dy. speekar of Bihar Assembly in 1937 of first congress Government. Mr. Bari become Vice chairman of Bihar Labour Enquari committee under clair was ship of Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Bihar labour enquiry communitie visited Jamshedpur to see the labour problem in Jamshedpur. On request of Netaji Subhas Chanra Bose, than President of Jamshedpur labour association decided to lead the labour association in Jamshedpur, On advice of Netaji Subhas ch. Bose decided to change the name of Jamshedpur labaur association to” tata Worker’s Union in 1937. After this in 1937 his first historical agreement with TISCO management.

He played active role in Quit India Movement in 1942, He becomes President of Bihar Pradesh committee in 1946 In 1947 riot spread in Patna, On request of Mahatma Gandhi he was coming to Patna by car from Jamshedpur  he was shot dead near fatuha Railway Crossing on 28 Marceh 1947. He burried in Peermohani Qabristan in Patna. He was the President of Tata workers Union from 1936 to 1947 (Till his death).

                From the very begning of the liffe an idea was developing in his mind to bring about social reform in Indian society by awakening the people through propagation of education and teaching as well. He had a vision of India free from slavery, Social inequality, communal disharmony, as a result of that he happens to be the  Founder’s leader of trade unions He took part in freedom  movement and finally scarified his life for the cause of nation.

This technical centre has been named in beloved memory of Prof. abdul  Bari to pay real tribute to such a Stalwart trade union leader of the world and India.

INTRODUCTION

                Every one desires to get opportunities to start professional career and to make meaningful contribution to the society. The selection of profession is an important part of life. In the present scenario, the fast changing global economy has compelled us to choose the technical education. There has been complete shift from skill-based technical in 20th century to knowledge-based technical education in 21 st century.

1.   Our Vision :

                            We at prof. Abdul Bari Technical Centre will impart futuristic technical education and instill high patterns of discipline through our dedicated staff who shall set national standard making our students technically sound superior and ethically strong, who in turn shall improve the quality of life of the human race.

2.       Our Mission :

                              Our Mission is to train up the students from all over Indi, including those from the local and rural areas and from other states, So that they became enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their families, industry and society, we will provide individual attention. World class quality education and take care of character building.

3.       Quality Policy :

                                     We at Prof. Abdul Bari Technical Centre, aspire to establish a system of quality assurance which would on a continuous basis evaluate and monitor the quality of education and training imparted at the centre to improve the teaching process and ultimately develop as a centre of excellence.

 4.       Campus :
                       The technical centre has its own building and well equipped workshop at Alba Colony, Phulwari Sharif, Patna near East of lshopur and west of Ranipur.


   5.       Library :

                       Library is an important part of our Institution. The reference book are available for the trainees in our library. News papers, Employment news, Technical and other journals are also facilitated to the trainees.

   6.       Hostel:
                       Technical centre has hired building for hostel. The trainees will have to apply for hostel after duly admitted in technical centre.

   7.       Game /Sports and other activities :
                       We have the ability to produce skill among trainees  through different types of game & sports. We also conduct technical quiz and test per week to prepare the trainees for different tests & interviews after passing all India Trade Test examination.

   8.       Financial Assistance :
                       The poor and deserving trainees will be granted financial assistance form poor Boy’s fund (P.B.F.) of our Technical centre and Bihar Minority Financed Corporation to continue their training in right direction.

  9.        Rules & Regulations :

                      We maintain absolute discipline in the campus. A candidate will only be admitted if he undertakes to abide by the Rules & Regulation as as specified here under :

a.       The trainees will have to attend the theory & practical classes regularly without fail.

b.      The trainees are not allowed in any case to absent himself form theory & practical classes                                                  without the prior permission of the competent authority.

c.       80% attendance is must to be eligible to appear at A.I.T.T.(final) examination .

d.      The absence for more then 6 days without information or permission of the Principle may                                                   lead to dismissal of the trainees.

e.      If any property of Institute is damaged due to negligence and mishandling the property cost or                                          repair cost (as the case may be) will be charged from the trainee concerned. If the offender in not                                      identified, the same will be recovered from the group or all trainees present on that time and date.

f.        Trainees are not allowed to participate in the local politics.

g.       Trainees are prohibited from meddling on their own machines, tools Instruments or in the Institute                                  building. The Institute in not responsible for any accident or injury sustained by such trainees.

h.      Raging in any form is strictly prohibited.

i.         All fees due must be paid regularly, failing which the defaulter will not be allowed to attend the classes.

j.        The trainees are bound to follow and obey the Rules and Regulation framed by the Management in                                  future along with instructions, direction and orders of the Principal issued from time to time.

k.       If the original documents submitted at the time of admission are found faise, fake  or tampered                                         in any shape and kind, the admission of the trainees will be cancelled without any notice and the                                     Institute will not be responsible for any legal action initiated against such trainee or trainees.

l.         The trainees violating or disobeying the Rules & Regulation will be liable for severe disciplinary                                        action including fine, suspension or even explosion from the Institute.

m.    The course fees and other fees once paid will neither be refunded nor adjusted to other candidates.

n.      The trade of admitted trainee will not be changed or transfered in any case. 

o.      The admission of the selected candidate will be cancelled in future if he/she is found medically unfit as                            per I.T.I. Manual.

10.       Condition to Appear at A.I.T.T. (Final) Exam :

                                The trainees unit have to fullfil the following conditions for appearing at A.I.T.T.(Final) Examination

1.       He has successfully completed the prescribed Training week during the working day.

2.       He bears 80% attendance after the completion of his training.

3.       He has completed all the jobs and other records subject wise.

4.       His conduct is found quite satisfactory to the3 authorities concerned and bears good moral character.

5.       He has satisfactory performance in monthly and periodical examination conducted by the Institute.

6.       He has paid all dues of the Institute.

11.       Progress Report :

                    The progress of the trainees is assessed on the basis of monthly and periodical examination and a report is sent to the guardian for the needful and necessary action.

12.       Criteria for Admission :

                  Age : Between 14 to 40 years on 1st August of every year.

                  Qualification : Matric or 10 th pass.

                  Note : Pass in Math and science separately in essential for admission in Draughts Man Civil.

 13.       Admission Process :

                Admission to various I.T.I. courses is open to all without distinction of caste creed and religion on merit basis through entrance exam. An emphasis is given on priority basis for admission to the candidates of SC/ST and weaker sections of the society is general and minority in particular. Selection List and waiting list are prepared from merit list. Candidates from waiting list are only considered if the selected candidates are not turned up within allotted time frame. The admission notice is given in important daily News Papers (English, Urdu & Hindi) in May/June every year. The admission form, prospectus and Guide to admission test (Containing model question an answers for opening this eyes to prepare for admission test) can be had on cash payment of Rs. 100/- from the office till ……200
